Your Ability OT was founded by Kristen Kohl in 2021.

Kristen studied Occupational Therapy at the University of South Australia, graduating in 2004. She has since worked as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist for over 20 years.

Kristen has always had a passion for helping children progress and reach their full potential. She enjoys working with children with a wide range of capabilities and providing a collaborative approach with families to best support children to reach their goals.

Kristen values building strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families, believing that therapy works best when it feels safe, playful, and connected. Kristen is committed to tailoring each session to the individual needs and interests of the child, making therapy both meaningful and motivating. Her goal is to empower families with practical strategies that can be carried over into everyday routines, helping children thrive in all areas of life.
